What Is Included with S’moresUp Free?

S’moresUp Free gives families the main tools needed to assign chores, use S’mores, plan events, and communicate at home.

It is not only a temporary screen or a limited preview.

Families can keep using Free after introductory Premium access ends.

Chore Types in Free

Free includes:

  • Individual chores
  • As Needed chores

Individual

Use Individual when one family member owns the responsibility.

Examples:

  • Make the bed
  • Pack the backpack
  • Feed the fish
  • Put laundry in the hamper

As Needed

Use As Needed when the work appears whenever it is necessary.

Examples:

  • Refill pet water
  • Wipe a spill
  • Bring in a package
  • Take recycling out when full

As Needed chores have no set due time and can be completed as often as needed.

Standard Scheduling

Free supports standard schedule patterns such as:

  • Once
  • Daily
  • Selected days
  • Weekly
  • Monthly
  • Quarterly
  • Yearly

Premium is needed for custom X-times-per-period schedules.

Examples:

  • Three times per week
  • Twice per month
  • Once per quarter

One Reminder per Chore

Free includes one reminder per chore.

That may be enough for many responsibilities.

Examples:

  • Fifteen minutes before the due time
  • A selected reminder time
  • A child reminder for a daily chore

Premium adds multiple reminders.

S’mores and the Spend Wallet

Children can earn S’mores from completed chores.

On Free, earned S’mores go into the child’s Spend Wallet.

Automatic percentage allocation across Spend, Save, and Goal is not included in Free.

Families can still use S’mores for:

  • Rewards
  • Privileges
  • Family experiences
  • Allowance-style goals
  • Everyday motivation

Reward Shelf

Parents can create rewards with:

  • Name
  • S’mores cost
  • Description
  • Family visibility based on current reward controls

Premium adds advanced reward controls such as:

  • Reward Approval
  • Selected-day availability
  • Auto Refill Rewards

The exact plan access for Reward Count and Expires By should be verified before publication.

Calendar and Google Calendar

Free includes the Family Calendar.

Families can:

  • Add events
  • Share events with the whole family or selected members
  • Use event reminders
  • Show chores and events together
  • Sync with Google Calendar

Google Calendar sync is not Premium-only.

Smart Appliance Integrations

Smart appliance integrations are available without a Premium gate.

Connected appliances can create follow-up chores and notifications.

Example:

Dishwasher finishes → Unload dishwasher chore appears.

The integration does not automatically complete the chore.

Free includes:

  • Family Campfire
  • Parent Community access

Campfire supports:

  • Text
  • Photos
