Why S’mores Were Not Awarded

Most support questions are easier to solve when the family can name the exact task, screen, or action involved.

Quick Start

  1. Check whether the task requires approval.
  2. Confirm that the parent approved rather than rejected it.
  3. Review the task’s S’mores value and task type.
  4. Check the wallet transaction history.
  5. Use in-app Help if the entry is still missing.

Common reasons

  • The task is still waiting for approval.
  • The task was rejected.
  • The task was excused, which earns no S’mores.
  • The task has no S’mores value.
  • Collaborate splits the configured value.

Task-type rules

  • Individual, Rotate, Compete, and Bonus can award the full value to the eligible member.
  • As Needed awards the value to the person who completed that occurrence.
  • Collaborate splits the value among participants.

Family Example

A child completes a photo-proof task, but the parent has not approved it. The S’mores remain pending until approval.

Good to Know

  • Start with the smallest version that solves the problem.
  • Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
  • Missed days are information, not proof that your family failed.
  • Open Help in the IAFT app and send a message if something does not work as expected.

Best First Action

Check the Approvals area before changing the task or wallet.
