How to Use S’mores Wallet Transactions

A wallet balance is easier to trust when the family can see why it changed. Transaction entries show S’mores earned, deducted for approved rewards, or changed through Bonus and Penalty.

Quick Start

  1. Open the member’s S’mores Wallet.
  2. Open the transaction history.
  3. Review the most recent entry.
  4. Match the entry to the completed task, reward, Bonus, or Penalty.

What transactions may show

  • S’mores earned from an approved or directly completed task.
  • S’mores deducted after a reward is approved.
  • S’mores added through Bonus.
  • S’mores removed through Penalty.

What the wallet does not allow

  • Parents cannot directly type a new wallet balance.
  • Balance changes should come through the supported actions so the history remains understandable.

Use transactions for learning

  • Help children see how small task earnings add up.
  • Review a reward deduction together.
  • Use the record to answer fairness questions calmly.

Family Example

A child sees that their balance dropped after an approved movie-night reward. The transaction shows the reward cost instead of leaving the balance change unexplained.

Good to Know

  • Start with the smallest version that solves the problem.
  • Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
  • Missed days are information, not proof that your family failed.
  • Open Help in the IAFT app and send a message if something does not work as expected.

Best First Action

Open one member’s wallet and explain the most recent transaction in plain language.
