Where to Find the Activity Log

Sometimes you need more context than the current task card provides. The Activity Log records family activity and can help confirm what happened without relying only on memory.

Quick Start

  1. Open the Activity Log in the app.
  2. Look for the family member or activity you need.
  3. Review the entry and its timing.
  4. Use Weekly View or wallet transactions when you need a different type of detail.

When the Activity Log helps

  • You want to review recorded activity.
  • You are checking what happened outside the current week view.
  • You need another place to confirm a completion or update.

How it differs from other views

  • Weekly View is designed for the current and prior week.
  • Wallet transactions focus on S’mores changes.
  • The Activity Log is a separate family activity record.

Keep expectations realistic

  • The current product does not combine every history source into one report.
  • Use the view that matches the question you are trying to answer.

Family Example

A parent is unsure when a task update happened. They review the Activity Log, then check the wallet only if S’mores were involved.

Good to Know

  • Start with the smallest version that solves the problem.
  • Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
  • Missed days are information, not proof that your family failed.
  • Open Help in the IAFT app and send a message if something does not work as expected.

Best First Action

Use the Activity Log to answer one specific question rather than trying to audit the whole family system.
