Understanding Your IAFT Starting Path

Every family starts in a different place. Some parents want relief. Some want more family participation. Some want a clearer reset. IAFT uses your starting path to make the first steps feel more relevant without forcing your family into one fixed way of using the app.

Quick Start

  1. Review the starting path you chose during onboarding.
  2. Use the starter tasks IAFT recommended for your family.
  3. Follow the early email guidance for that path.
  4. Change individual tasks and settings as you learn what fits.

What your starting path changes

  • The language used during onboarding.
  • The starter tasks recommended to you.
  • The tone of welcome messages.
  • The focus of the first 45-day email journey.

What it does not change

  • Your starting path does not create a separate app.
  • You still use the same core IAFT tools.
  • You can personalize tasks, schedules, reminders, and rewards for your real family life.

The three starting paths

  • Solo Flight is for a parent carrying most of the load.
  • FamilyFun makes the start feel lighter and more playful.
  • FamilyReset is for families looking for more structure and a fresh start.

Family Example

A parent may choose Solo Flight and begin with a smaller task set. Another family may choose FamilyFun and use the same task tools with more playful language. Both families can still adjust their setup over time.

Good to Know

  • Start with the smallest version that solves the problem.
  • Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
  • Missed days are information, not proof that your family failed.
  • Open Help in the IAFT app and send a message if something does not work as expected.

Best First Action

Use the path you chose as a starting point, then personalize one task so IAFT fits your real day.
