How to Restore Premium Access

Premium normally syncs through the S’moresUp family account.

A separate restore step may be needed after:

  • Reinstalling the app
  • Replacing an iPhone or iPad
  • Signing in again
  • Completing a purchase that does not appear
  • Changing devices

Start with the S’moresUp Account

Before using Restore Purchase, confirm:

  • Correct S’moresUp email
  • Correct password
  • Correct family
  • Adult belongs to the family
  • Internet connection is working

Because Premium is family-based, signing in to the correct family is the most important step.

iOS Restore Purchase

iOS includes a Restore Purchase option on the purchase screen.

The basic flow is:

  1. Sign in to the correct S’moresUp family.
  2. Open the Premium purchase screen.
  3. Choose Restore Purchase.
  4. Follow the Apple prompt.
  5. Return to S’moresUp.
  6. Check Premium access.

Use the Apple account connected to the original purchase when required by Apple.

Android

Android does not currently include a separate Restore Purchase button.

Premium should normally sync through the S’moresUp account.

Try:

  1. Confirm the correct S’moresUp family.
  2. Close and reopen the app.
  3. Sign out and sign back in.
  4. Check the internet connection.
  5. Confirm the subscription in Google Play.
  6. Contact support if access is still missing.

Website Purchases

A website purchase should also unlock Premium for the family.

Sign in to the same S’moresUp family used during checkout.

If the website receipt exists but Premium is missing, contact support.

Using Premium Across Platforms

Premium family access can be used across:

  • iOS
  • Android
  • Web

Example:

A parent purchases through Apple.

Another parent signs in on Android.

Both use the same S’moresUp family, so Premium should be available.

The Apple billing subscription remains managed through Apple.

Different Store Account and S’moresUp Login

S’moresUp access is based on the family account.

Store purchase verification may still depend on the purchase provider and receipt.

If the Apple or Google account differs from the S’moresUp login, do not purchase again immediately.

First check:

  • Correct family
  • Active store subscription
  • Receipt
  • Purchase date
  • Premium status

Then contact support.

Restore Does Not Transfer Billing

Restore Purchase does not:

  • Move Apple billing to Google Play
  • Move Google billing to Apple
  • Create a new subscription
  • Preserve a legacy rate after cancellation
  • Recover deleted family data by itself

It helps reconnect an eligible purchase to the current family access.

If the Family Was Deleted

Deleting the family does not automatically cancel billing.

It can also make account recovery more difficult.

Contact support with:

  • Account email
  • Purchase provider
  • Receipt
  • Approximate family name
  • Purchase date

Do not create repeated subscriptions while support reviews the issue.

Common Problems

Restore Purchase shows nothing

Check the Apple account and active subscription.

Android has no Restore button

That is expected.

The receipt exists but Premium is missing

Contact support.

Another adult already subscribed

Do not purchase again. Confirm family access and billing.
