How the Planner Works

The Planner helps families look ahead. Use it to prepare for routines, events, weekly responsibilities, and upcoming tasks that should not be left to memory.

Quick Start

  1. Open the Planner.
  2. Review upcoming tasks or events.
  3. Add anything that needs preparation.
  4. Connect tasks to the event if needed.
  5. Assign who owns each step.

Why this helps

Looking at patterns is more useful than reacting to every missed task.

Good to know

  • The Planner is useful for school weeks, appointments, family events, travel, and seasonal routines.
  • It works best when each event has only the tasks that truly matter.
  • Use it to prevent last-minute scrambling.

Family Example

Pick one event coming up this week and add one preparation task for it.

Good to Know

  • Start with the smallest version that solves the problem.
  • Change one setting at a time so you can see what helped.
  • Missed days are information, not proof that your family failed.
  • Open Help in the IAFT app and send a message if something does not work as expected.

Best First Action

Pick one event coming up this week and add one preparation task for it.
