How S’moresUp Premium Pricing Works

S’moresUp Premium is moving toward a monthly subscription model.

Pricing may depend on:

  • When the family subscribes
  • Whether a promotional offer is active
  • The billing provider
  • Country or region
  • Taxes
  • Whether the family has a continuously active legacy subscription

Always review the price shown before completing a purchase.

Current Monthly Pricing Direction

The current pricing plan is:

  • $7.99 per month through August 29, 2026
  • $9.99 per month for new subscriptions beginning August 30, 2026

The August 30 price applies to new subscriptions.

The price shown by Apple, Google Play, or the S’moresUp website is the final purchase price for that transaction.

Limited Annual Offer

Eligible S’moresUp users may receive a limited annual offer:

  • $79.99 for one year
  • Available through August 30, 2026

This is a promotional annual offer.

It should not be described as the permanent standard plan.

Review the offer terms shown at purchase.

Paid Subscriptions Renew Automatically

After an adult completes a Premium purchase, the subscription renews automatically at the selected billing interval until canceled.

Automatic renewal applies to a paid subscription.

It does not mean that the first 45 days automatically begin paid billing.

The First 45 Days Are Different

New families receive introductory Premium access for the first 45 days.

Current behavior:

  • No payment information is required to begin
  • The family does not start a paid subscription automatically
  • Eligible families may be offered extensions
  • Paid billing begins only after an adult completes a purchase

Read the separate First 45 Days article for details.

Family-Wide Access

One Premium subscription unlocks Premium for the whole S’moresUp family.

Any adult who belongs to the family can purchase the subscription.

Family members can use Premium on supported devices after signing in to the same family.

Billing remains connected to the provider used for purchase.

Apple, Google Play, and Website Pricing

Families may subscribe through:

  • Apple App Store
  • Google Play
  • S’moresUp website

Prices can differ slightly because of:

  • Regional pricing
  • Taxes
  • Store rules
  • Promotional eligibility

Use the amount shown on the purchase screen.

Legacy and Grandfathered Prices

Eligible families with older rates may keep them while the subscription remains continuously active.

This includes some subscribers paying:

  • $4.99 per month
  • $7.99 per month

Canceling or allowing the subscription to end removes the legacy rate.

A later subscription starts at the current available price.

Legacy pricing is a current product policy, not an unconditional lifetime guarantee.

Price Changes

The Terms of Use allow subscription prices and paid services to change with notice.

When a price changes:

  • New subscribers may receive the new price
  • Existing continuously active subscribers may remain on an eligible legacy rate
  • Store rules may affect renewal notices
  • Promotional offers may expire

Review any notice sent by S’moresUp or the billing provider.

Failed Payments

S’moresUp does not currently have a separate failed-payment recovery program or billing grace period.

The payment provider may still apply its own billing and retry rules.

Do not rely on a grace period to preserve a legacy price.
